You've got me wrong. I am looking at the older used market from decades ago, which has nothing to do with the tragic bankruptcy news. The loss of jobs in La Conner is terrible. I'm just a guy on a budget trying to learn. I know absolutely nothing about these kind of boats and I thought Ranger Tugs were pretty cool too. I guess newcomers aren't really welcome here, so thanks for helping me figure that out early on.

When we were looking at boats we were interested in an Nordic tug or a American tug, We were blessed and found OUR Cutwater 30, do not be discouraged,
We looked for a year and half but persevered, and had to travel two days to look at it. Keep the faith, and The folks on this forum have always been nothing but welcoming to us, we came from sailing for over 30 years.... We had asked some dumb questions and everyone has been helpful. Hang in there!

Doubt that the bankruptcy will affect the used market. If anything it will make them more valuable(basic supply/demand). There are countless older fiberglass boats out there from defunct companies. They're worth what the market will bear. And what marine surveyors think they're worth...
