'07 R-21 prop shaft nut

My days of testing the water with both feet are over. I have another Newbie question. Before adjusting the prop shaft nut I thought I should ask. The nut(s) appear to be seized and are dripping (one drop every 20-30 seconds) Is the lock nut aft of the large nut and to loosen the large nut you turn counterclockwise? That is, lefty loosey, righty tighty.
