1000 hour engine maintenance

Our 2014 Ranger 29 - D4 has 1000 hours on the engine. In addition to our regular annual maintenance what additional maintenance/checks should be done

There isn't anything specific about a 1000 hour service per the Volvo manual for the D4

My service manual for the D4 is a bit different. It shows the reverse gear box filter and fluid replacement interval as every 200 hours or 12 months just like the engine oil and filters. That’s different from the referenced table from the prior poster that says it the reverse gear oil and filter need replacement every 25 hours or 6 months. I’m going with the 200 hour interval shown on the Volvo Penta D4 Series Operator's Manual page 70.

My 1000 hours coincided with the boat's 10th birthday (Yammer 6BY-260). So I replaced the engine mounts and had the air cooler and heat exchanger removed for descaling. So those were less about the hours and more about the age of the engine.
