I recently installed 3 fans in my 2011 R29. 2 in the V-berth under the speakers mounted on the headboard and 1 in the Salon just above the Fusion Remote Control panel. For the V-berth I removed the speakers and used a simple splice connector to splice into the lighting circuit. I drilled a 1/4" hole for the fan wire to run behind the headboard. For the Salon, I tied into the light fixture that is mounted on the spice rack. Because there is no access to behind the rack, I drilled a hole in the top of the light fixture base, inserted a grommet and tied into the fixture wiring inside the base. There is plenty of room inside. Because all my lights are LED and the Caframo 757 direct wire fans only draw 0.4A, the existing wires (16AWG) were plenty big enough to handle the load. Pictures in my photo album.

I had fogging and dry out issues so I bought a couple of these:

They are a USB powered fan, which I connect anywhere in the boat where I have a phone charger. The Fusion stereo head also has a powered USB port which I use for drying my windshield on the port side where a factory fan doesnt exist.

Best use is in the bathroom after a shower. Open a window and start fan to get air moving and the bathroom dries out 5 times faster

Cheers!
