Greeting;

Our 2012 Ranger 27, Trilogy, has finished taking us on an incredible 56 days of cruising the Erie Canal, the Rideau Canal, the Trent Severn Waterway, Ottawa River, the Richelieu River in Quebec, the Chambly Canal, Lake Champlain and the accompanying locks. We met old friends along the way and at the Tug Rendezvous in Orillia, Ontario that Jim and Lisa Favors did an outstanding job organizing and where we made new friends. The numbers: 56 days, 1,625 miles, 187 locks, the major cities of Ottawa and Montreal and countless memories.

See this website for photos and descriptions of a trip that you would really enjoy:

This website describes the improvements, how trips were done, and descriptions of the Chattanooga to Mobile trip, exploring Florida's east and west coasts, and now the historic canal trip. We are thinking of a springtime trip up the ICW in Georgia, Carolinas, and Virginia.

We have owned three Ranger Tugs over the past 10 years. Though we live on a trawler in Everett, WA, we keep Trilogy on a trailer on the east coast, store it in RV lots, and move it around to re-visit places on the Great Loop and to explore new places.
