Martini Launch ELECTRIC
We just bought this great boat and for 3 weeks have been enjoying it entirely. No problems, no issues and NO PAPER WORK !!
Well a few manuals came with it for the stereo, the gauges and such. What I really want to find are some wiring diagrams, operations and maintenance manuals and any original paperwork that came with these boats.

Only issue we have is there are 6 LED curtesy lights around the outside top of the hull and I can't find what turns them on or how they are wired in.

All help appreciated.

Hello,

Sorry, I had mistaken this for the normal diesel powered R21. You can find some information on the R21 under the "Ranger Factory Technical Bulletins". But I don't think we have much. Let me see if there is anything I can find here at the factory.

The lights you are indicating are typically for when the boat is trailed at night. There should be a plug up at the anchor chain locker that plugs into the trailer, typically there is a connection at the winch. Not sure if this was the same for these boats but if you have lights on the hull side and also on the transom of the boat I believe those are still used for trailering.

Thanks,

Kevin,
Thank you and that could make sense. There is a plug by the anchor that I haven't figured out yet, I will test it and let you know. If you happen across any diagrams or manuals for this boat I would be happy to buy a copy of anything you guys might find.
I don't have an original trailer, so if that is what the lights were for I may have to repurpose them.

Those lights really could not have any other use than trailering. On the water they would be confusing to other boaters and potentially illegal. For example, the red running and brake lights on the back coils not be used on the water.

Thanks, I hadn't realized they were red, that would be an issue.
I might try to replace them with white and use them for anchoring lights.
With the surrey top up you can't see the post light on the transom from 360 like you should.

Have you had any luck finding anything on our boat as far as manuals or drawings?

Curious as to what range at what speed you are getting out of that electric launch?

Range is quoted at 8 hours on a full charge, but that goes down as your speed goes up.
So far we have been out for more than 6 hours over a weekend cruising slow to half speed with occasional bursts to 80%. All that and we didn't drop below 23 Volts while cruising. According to my GPS at 80% we are moving at about 5.5 to 6 MPH, I think that's almost 5 knots.
We have the 4 battery configuration, but there is room to add 2 more if we ever need more range. Living on the lake it is easy for us to plug in every night when its in the lift, so I doubt we will ever need that.
