hi this is y first post on the site, very new to finding resources as i have basically fiddled my way though any issued i have had so far, I have a 2004 R-21 Classic . I am looking to replace the stuffing pack , and cutlass bearing . I am uncertain how to find out what parts i should use, I am unsure of the shaft size. all of the parts are original from 2004. any input or if thre is some "walk Through" info available somewhere it would save me a lot of time and pain from doing things wrong and then realizing how to through breaking stuff.
she's a good boat , the stuffing pack is basically a slight running like a barley on faucet. It looks like there is room to tighten the bolt on the stuffing pack , I intend to try to adjust that first before replacing it... with that said since i have to replace the cutlass bearing I figured i would have to remove the shaft so replacing the stuffing would be a good time to do it . anyone out there that has had these problems or likes helping another "tuggie", again it would be greatly appreciated
