Was wondering if the swim platform of the R25 would have a problem handling a Sea Doo Spark on a Hurley H30+ davit.
The Spark is 425 pounds and 120" long.

That's a huge weight to place on the R-25's swim platform. Worst possible location to add weight.

I would guess you could add more support to the platform, I would run that by the factory.. but please post pictures once you have it loaded , it would be great to see.

While you're checking with Ranger Tugs about the weight limits for the platform you might want to check with Hurley Davits to ask them the question relative to there davit system holding this weight. Keep us posted as to what you find out.

I would say that we would not be ok with sticking this much weight on the rear of the boat. I would be ok with a 150 lb. maximum on that boat.

Thanks Andrew. Advice taken. I will be towing. Found a great looking towing product. It is called Magic Marine Tow. Andrew if you would take a look at that and let me know if it is ok for the R25. Thanks!

Looks pretty cool! I would prefer towing to be done through the stern eyes as they are bolted to the back of the boat and reinforced. If you watch it and are careful, the swim platform might work. Being yours is a 2008, don't you have the plastic platform?

It would be good to check with seedoo about towing speeds. They have told me not to tow over 6 knots without clamping off the exhaust hoses, to avoid water backing up into your cylinders. I too looked into towing my sparks.

You are correct Andrew the swim platform is plastic. I was looking at attaching the tow mount where a support was under the platform and the platform is also reinforced there.
