Question for the Ranger factory folks or anyone else who has an older R25...

When I am in the cabin, and the door is shut, there is some 'give' in the bottom of the wall below and to the right of the doorframe. Specifically, it seems the bottom of the wall is not attached to anything. With sufficient pressure, you can see some light and you get some glimpse of the cockpit floor.

Is this intentional? If so why? And if not, do you have any suggestions on how best to correct it?

Thanks!

On my 2010 R-25 I observed the exact same issue. This issue also meant when closing the cabin door the port side of the aft cabin wall would vibrate and kind of make an irritating noise. My research for what was causing this lead me to find the same issue as you've posted. The fix was VERY simply. I determined where the wall movement was most apparent (which was close to the the cockpit floor and maybe some 2" from door's port edge) and drilled and screwed a bolt from the outside of the wall and some 1" up from the floor into the fibre glass lining of the aft cave wall. This resolved the problem for me and when closing the cabin door it shut with a resounding proper noise as does a car door when it latches properly. The aft cabin wall no longer moved or vibrated when closing and/or slamming the cabin door.

Yes, the factory must have missed attaching the cockpit liner to the inner fibre glass of the cave with a similar fix to what I did. BTW... I did point this out to RT at the time.

I believe the screw bolt length was at least 1" or could have been 1.5". I'd start with a 1" to be safe.
