Hi Andrew,
I am pleased to say that I have st last taken delivery of my 2010 R 25 (# US-FMLT2505E910) that I purchsed six months ago. During the walk through the agent found found he was unable to release the table legs, he had not seen this type of leg base on previos Rangers. There is a button on the base that does not appear to do any thing, previously there were levers. If you need to see photos I could send some by email. Thanks for your help. Dave Margetts

Releasing the table on an R25 has been a topic discussed before on this forum. Check out: http://www.tugnuts.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=313&hilit=table

I've read that the 27 and 29 come with high/low tables with a piston which stays in place under the table in both positions? Has anyone retrofitted an R25 in this manner; i.e., replaced the 2 table legs with a single piston? Seems like it would rock even more than the standard double leg mount? How well does the piston system work?

I'd be interested in others' experiences as given the hassle in removing the table it might be worth going to a piston system.

When I unscrewed the table from the mounts to make a new top, I experimentally attempted to pull one leg apart just to see what all the hullabaloo is about.. That sucker is welded into place...
Being that I have no intentions of lowering the table in the near future I went ahead with making a smaller top that does not squash the sitter in the aft dinette seat... To address the rocking issue I made two extra 'feet' that are screw adjustable in length and wedge up under each port corner... Top is now solid as a rock...

Thanks Jerry for the hyperrlink I am pleased to see we are not the only ones with this problem. Today we used the "two person wiggle and pull method' and it worked.
