For those in the region interested in learning more about our weather, Cliff Mass has just posted the announcement for this year's conference. This year's theme is "Determining and Communicating Uncertainty."
To quote Bill Ray, my USPS Weather Forecasting instructor, "If you want to see where the leading edge of the state of the art lies, this is the place! Papers are technical of course but generally not highly mathematical; the issues and results should be clear enough to be interesting for us weather junkies."
I like, at the very least, looking at the pictures!
The conference will be May 13-14, and is open to the public. There is a fee. More information here.
