Does anyne know where the water shut off valve is on the ice maker. We are trying to get the ice maker going since we just got the boat. Thanks.

Hello,

There is no shut off valve, there should be two switches that need to be on in order for the ice maker to work. First one is on the AC panel for the outlets, microwave etc. and the second is on the ice maker itself which is located at the bottom when you open the door. Also please note that the ice maker requires 110V so you must be plugged into shore power or have an onboard generator for this to work. Once everything is turned on, including the fresh water pump as it uses water from the tank, it should start dropping ice in about 45mins-1hr. All fridges on our boats are 12V including the cockpit fridge. The new boats equipped with the cockpit freezer are also 12V.

It is in the middle to the right of the BBQ. The far right there is a small "can".

Ice maker on our 31 runs fine on inverter while cruising. Have run overnight on batteries, but seems to use a lot more than 12 V refrigerator, due to heater that releases ice.
