I have just recently purchased this Tug which has been in storage for the past 4 years. The cylinder for the engine hatch is not working. I've replaced the pop out fuse on the panel switch but that has not fixed the problem. Is there another fuse that might need replacement? If so, where is it? Many thanks.

Has anyone had trouble with the Ultraflex Engine Hatch lifter wiring corroding? Can you get inside the cylinder to replace the wiring?

I had a similar experience with our 2012 R29 when we acquired it last Fall. It turned out to be a very easy fix.

There were four wires to the the lift cylinder, but two of them jumpered with a butt connector that was loose on close inspection. A quick strip-and-crimp later with a fresh butt connector and all's been well ever since.
