2011 SC 25 Shore Connection

I know dumb question......but I'm learning I think.


Larger marina last season ....no problem connecting to their electric connection.


Now I'm at a smaller marina and my three prong doesn't match the new (3) receptacle .


Any advice.....I think I have to find out the new marine specs. but the 16 year working at the dock didn't have a clue.

Is there a common adapter that should work????

PS I just found a web site with the new marina info.......saying they have a 30 amp system??

The smaller marina probably had only 20 amp outlets. Buy one of these and keep it on the boat.

While you are at it buy an adaptor that will work in a regular household 15amp plug as well.

Take a photo of the shore power pedestal connection and post back.... and the shore power end of your cable.

Thank you for the info. I thought that was one I needed.

Do you think I need to be concerned about the use in wet applications????

I wouldn't be concerned. The dock pedestal usually has a cover of some sort. It may not close all the way but still should protect it some. Also it is a good habit to shut off the pedestal breaker if there is one before plugging or unplugging. You can also find these adaptors for less money on other sites. West Marine has very high prices.
