2012 C-26 Aft Bilge Pump

Hello, I recently purchased a 2012 C-26-

Today, I notice that the Aft Bilge pump is not working in manual or automatic mode, can not find fuses, looked in head and under power center.... noticed when switch at helm is in off position the indicator light still appears on, the forward pump indicator and pump works as expected. Also, sump for shower will not turn off- boat was recently trailered, how do I check to see if float switch for sump is stuck? Any help is appreciated!

Got the same issue with the shower sump. Have never used it, but it turned on and will not quit. Pulled the fuse. Rinsed float switch with lotsa fresh water to no avail.

I will be interested in seeing what solutions are provided for your (our) problem.

The manual side of the bilge pump is operated off the switch with a built in resettable breaker. If it's not working manually, this is a good indication the pump needs replaced. I would pull the power and ground off the pump itself and verify power at the always hot wire and the switched power side. The fuses should be behind a carpeted panel in the aft wall of the mid cabin.

Regarding the shower sump, the manufacturer has had lots of bad float switches. If the pump won't turn off, the switch is bad. You can source both of these parts through our parts department. Parts@rangertugs.com.
