Hi - Another issue with our "new" boat. The macerator does not seem to work. It pumps but nothing comes out. I did open the valve down at the end of the mid-berth and the sound the pump makes is different but no flow. There is liquid in the tank. Has anyone seen this before or have any idea how to attack the problem?
Must be plugged somewhere (??). If I had to guess, I would say between the tank and pump. Not looking forward to disconnecting the hoses so I thought I would see if anyone has any ideas I can try before I do something like that.
I had two thoughts - First, try and blow some water in the outlet and see if it frees anything up. Second, try and apply pressure to the tank with the pump on and, maybe it will start up.
