Hi all,

I am looking for the number and location of the A/C unit(s) as well as the brands used for a 2013 R29.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I own a 2014. Probably the same. The air conditioning is under the port side seat, behind the wine cooler. You can see it if you crawl to the end of the "cave" and take out the air vent. Too small to service it. you will probably have to take out the wine cooler. Mine appears to be made by Dometic, the model appears to be DX. I have the owners manual. the Service dealer listed for Maryland is Ocean Options 410-268-9365

Enjoy!

I have a 2010 R29 .The entire end of the cave comes apart with screws. You have to look as they are embedded in the monkey fur. Once these panels are out you can access the AC for the cabin. Good access for other things like shower taps, plumbing fittings AC plugs if you want to add more. I'm kind of a thick fellow and I can sit right up in there. The V Berth AC is easily accessed once the fridge is removed. Also your fuel vent line is right there and so is your poop tank vent hose. Good time to add a poop tank vent air freshener! There are numerous solutions for that. I added the inline cartridge thing recommended by the Marine Store expert, ironically a POS. My AC units are heat and AC controlled by a little ball that rolls inside the Freon tube thus changing the direction of the coolant. This is my understanding. My Nephew is a Hvac repair guy and has his own company. He tells me we could remove this ball valve and add a charging valve and make it a straight AC unit. Haven't done it yet but will eventually because my Vberth AC only puts out heat.

Sorry I digress! Third Martini!

Good Luck, Leon

Thanks all ... great laughs for my morning!
