Would like to add small fan to pilot house. Is there an empty fuse slot? Or, how would you wires it with a separate in line fuse? Thx

Most of the 12 v fans will come with there own in line fuse. There is a photo in my album of the fans I installed, a must for defrost of the Windows and turns around to keep you comfortable on that hot cruise. Bob

I wired mine (2 fans) to the macerator switch, which is not used on my boat, and fused; a really handy way to turn them on/off and in a great location.

I just wired on a 12v plug for the existing outlet. I have a Caframo. I don’t know If that is fused but I expect so. In any case the fan only runs when I am present and it would be easy to pull the plug if concerned.
