HOPING FOR SOME HELP. QUESTION ON MY 2014 C-28 ARE THE TRIM TABS ON THE SAME HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AS THE STEERING SYSTEM?

No
Steering system is independent. Reservoir access at the helm on the wheel hub, Garmin pump in the starboard lazarette and hydraulic piston with bleeders at the rudder post.

BUT .... the trim tabs and the engine hatch ARE on the same pump, which I found out that they don't sell/make anymore.
If orig pump fails you will need to replace with two (2) pumps
