SAVE THE DATE EVERYONE...the 2015 CBPYR will take place June 5-7 at Haven Harbour Marina in Rock Hall, Maryland. The registration fee to attend will be $75/boat or couple if arriving by land. This year’s theme is “Pirates of the Chesapeake”. Since Rock Hall is the home to “Pirates and Wenches” in August, we thought this would be a great way to kick off the summer. So matey's, grab your pirate hat and eye patch and come out and enjoy the weekend with fellow Ranger Tugs, Cutwaters and C-Dories.

Tentative events include a Friday evening potluck appetizer get together, Saturday morning potluck breakfast followed by a few seminars, free time in the afternoon to explore Rock Hall, a pirate/wench costume contest Saturday night before a great catered dinner, a Sunday morning catered breakfast, seminar and awards. Categories for the awards include best pirate costume, best wench costume, best pirate themed boat decorations, plus a few more to be named!

To get ideas about Pirate/Wench costumes, look into Etsy, Pinterest, Amazon, etc.

We are still solidifying our weekend events, so as more information becomes available, I will update this announcement.

Last year we were challenged by Andrew to have 30 boats at this year’s rendezvous, so let’s show him that we can do it…what say ye, me Hartey’s???

“Yo-ho, Yo-ho, a Pirate’s life for me…” 😀

arrrrrgh. Thanks again for doing the organizing! Too bad not in September - I'm sure everyone already knows that 19 September is international talk like a pirate day. Our poor tug is literally frozen in the ice right now in DC. Hard to fathom it will be warm again some day.

Ahoy Mateys, we have four boats saying they are coming:

1. First and Last with Richard and Barbara Bailey
2. Therapist II with Rick and Dottie Proffer
3. Chez Pierre sur la Mer with Pete Sidle and Michelle Dorothy
4. Lone Star Ranger with John and Tracey Garcia

We are off and running...Anyone else I should add to the list? I know its hard to think of warmer weather when there is still snow on the ground, but it will be here before we know it, so don't hesitate to let me know you are planning on attending.

We would like to join you this year!

Eric & Moria Fischer
Tugger Toy
2006 R-21 Classic

That is awesome, with your boat we are up to nine boats attending, only 21 more to go to reach our goal of 30!!! 😀

Don and I are planning to be there. We gave Tugger Toy the nudge to join in. Is there a commission for recruiting?
We will also help out with vessel exams again this year. Coast Guard Auxiliary at your service.

Kathy and Don Spataccino

Great job Kathy and Don on convincing tugged toy to join. We'll be putting out additional information to the group, including a public boat ramp if folks prefer to trailer their boats in closer.

With you guys attending we are officially 1/3 of the way meeting our goal! And thanks for doing the safety inspections again this year. That really helps everyone!

Kat and I should be there with Katnip!!!

Thanks for RSVPing Scott. With your boat we are 1/3 of the way of meeting our goal of 30 boats at this year's rendezvous. 😀

We still have room for more boats if anyone is interested in joining up for a fun weekend in June!! 😀

Count us in as well! 😛
