2015 cutwater starboard cockpit locker - ? pneumatic assist

It seems to me that the starboard cockpit locker should have some sort of pneumatic arm to keep it in the open position while you do what you want to do. I am tired of using my head to hold up the hatch!!

There are several available on the open market. You will most likely have to add a block of starboard at each end glued with 5200 and then attach the arm.

Suggest you keep it simple and purchase some rubber Bungee Cords\Tarp Straps with end hooks and hook them between the locker and side rail or Bimini....whatever your boat has to keep the locker off your head.
