As I am getting a lot of inquiries about the this coming years Northeast rendezvous, I am posting the dates here for everyone. We will be staying at the Newport Yachting Center, Newport RI. Check in is July 30th and check out is August 2nd. Mike Rizzo will post the full details for everyone. The contact at the Yachting Center is Ray, he can be reached at 800-653-3625 for reservations. We do have an allotment of slips being held for us, but reservations must be made directly with them no later than June 30th to guarantee you will be with the group. If you would like to be on the official email list for this event, send me your contact information and I will be sure you get on the list.

As summer is gearing up and we are all making plans, below is a link for those interested in registering for the 2015 Northeast Rendezvous. It will be in Newport Rhode Island this year. It is important that you make your slip reservations directly with the Newport Yachting center (contact info is on the registration form) before June 30th to ensure a slip assignment.

The marina will only hold slips for us until June 30th. if you are planning on attending this year, be sure to make your reservation
 
Hi all Northeast TUGNUTS. I have made my reservations for Newport and plan to cruise from Dennis, Ma to Newport on 30 July. if anyone is coming by boat from the south shore or Boston area and would like to cruise across Buzzards Bay and into Newport together, make a post and we can make it happen. Looking forward to the event.

Just another quick notice. There is only about one week left to make your reservation and guarantee you will get a slip at the Newport Yachting Center. If you are planning on attending and have not made your reservation yet, You should do so quickly. Hope to see a lot of new faces this year
 
Well, it happened again. YOLO cannot get the time off to attend the Rendezvous.

She will be out and about Cape Cod and the Islands August 16-27.

Hopefully, we may spot some of you New Englanders out on the water.

Just two weeks to go. Fingers crossed for great weather. David and I will be leaving Mystic around 8 on Thursday morning. Anyone traveling from our area that would like to travel with us, let me know. We look forward to seeing everyone this year.
 
Well, another great gathering of old friends and new acquaintances! It seemed like we all arrived and at the blink of an eye it was over. Thanks to all hose who came and shared your experiences and knowledge. A special thanks to Bofil Marine the local Cutwater Dealer and Winter Island Yachts the Ranger Tug Dealer that help sponsor the event. Thanks to Brian Norman for his great work in organizing the facilities and arranging for all the supplies. Also thanks to Lori and Jim Henault for the catering recommendation.
Mark your calendars for next year's event. It is tentatively planned to be at the Greenport Municipal Marina August 11 thru 14, 2016. We will update information as time progresses
