My depth sounder/sonar is definitely not working (although it was working fine when I bought the boat in January). After reading through many of the posts on this site, it seemed that the problem was likely to be the transducer which had either loosened or leaked fluid. Someone had mentioned that the transducer is located aft under the seat against the transom and so, I went out to the marina today, took the cushions off the seat, raised the seat up, took the cooler/fish tank out but did not see anything that looked like the transducer. Granted it is a very small space in there and virtually impossible to get ones head inside, but I didn’t see anything likely.
Any ideas where the transducer could be hiding on my specific year and model Ranger Tug?
