2016 C28 Volvo D4 overheating

Hi all,

I have 200 hours on my Volvo D4 powering 2016 C28 always kept in water. The engine started overheating at WOT, found the heat exchanger had calcium build up and now the entire cooling system has to be flushed.

Should engine warranty cover this issue?. Anybody with similar experience?.
 
Sounds odd that you have calcium build up after a year. This would not be covered under warranty. Before you do a scaling did you check your oil cooler for debris. This has been a common issue on the Volvo. The temperature starts to creep up as it gets more clogged. Especially in Florida with all that eel grass floating around.
