After bringing out our Tug from winter storage it seems I have a leak in the hot water heater. We have the 6 gallon Seaward S600 unit on our boat. I'm having trouble identifying the exact replacement online. Does your parts department have availability to ship new units and if so what is the cost?

Before you replace it i would check to see where the leak is coming from. Is it a coolant leak or potable water leak? Check all hose and fitting connections.

Hello,

I would agree that you should make sure you don't have a loose fitting, clamp or leaky hose that can be repaired or tightened before replacing the whole unit. Also knowing if its engine coolant or potable water would help too. We no longer use that water heater so the best would be online or a local shop that can order it for you. Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Thanks, Unfortunately it is definitely coming from the water heater itself and is potable water. I will try to source one locally.
