The C 28 manual shows the air cond water intake on the port side, but in my boat, that's where the generator cooling water intake is. My air cond water intake is on the starboard side and it looks like it has a one-way valve in the line to keep the water from running out when the boat is in the lift. Does that sound right to you? Just trying to know where things are. Thanks.

On our C28, the intake is on the starboard side. It has a seacock on it, but I don't think it has a one way valve. At least last night when I turned it on for the first time in a while, I got an error message. Trying to figure out what the problem was, the strainer seemed to be totally empty of water, and I'm assuming airlocked. When I took off the top, slowly opened the seacock to let it fill up, and then tried again (after putting the top back on) it worked fine. So if there is a one way valve, it isn't working...

Hey Mark,

That one you are describing is for the toilet. The AC pickup maybe forward on the port side, you can always trace the hose from the pump to the strainer. Hope this helps!!

Thanks,

Thanks Kevin. Do I have to climb down in the cave and remove panels to see the AC pump?

Hey Mark,

The AC pump is located in the engine bay. Should be a blue pump.

Thanks,

Thanks Kevin.
