Advice Wanted- planning to install the Garmin xHD Radar on my R23 next week. From what I understand, I will need to run the 2 wires through the mast base, remove the center ceiling decorative wood panel and then route the cables to the starboard mid cabin pillar where the porthole is. Remove that panel and then pull both cables behind the frig and up to the helm? Assuming the network cable goes to the chart plotter and the power cable to a power source (bus bar or fused line) from the access panel in the head. Should I plan on cutting the helm side of the network cable to aide in fishing the line and purchase the field install kit to splice the end back on? Appreciate any and all advice
