In the process of ordering a new 2018 cb31 and would like to know which hull color is most resistant to fading over time.
Thanks,
Sonny

Avoid Red and Blue, they are really nice when new but need constant upkeep 5 years later. I have a 7 year old Blue hull and it needs wax every 3 months in the NE.
I agree with Phil on the White but Ranger doesn't offer it. They do make white Cutwaters however, never understood why they don't offer a Ranger Tug with a white hull. They could call it the East Coast edition!!

Sorry about that, Didn't know Ranger doesn't make tugs in white, seems odd. They might do a special request, otherwise I would assume that the lighter the color the less you will notice fading.

RT will do a white hull if you ask them nicely.... it also happens to be the lowest cost color so maybe you get a nice little/big discount for choosing white.

BTW -- I had a Midnight Blue hull on my previous R-25 (Classic) and after 6 years it still appeared as pristine as when new. I kept the R-25 in my PNW Edmonds marina in the salt water year round and in a covered slip which allowed sun rays to only get to a small section of the bow & hull.

All non-white hulls will fade over time and more so if not covered. Even white will need some care to keep shiny as I've seen all-white boats (covered and in the open) needing polishing/waxing care periodically.

We have Laurene Green, and it seems to do well after a couple of years in FL sun. It is quite light. Everyone comments how pretty it is. We purchased used, and when looking on web it did not look that good, but in person great.
