Save the date fellow Ranger Tug, Cutwater and C-Dory owners, June 8th thru 10th, 2018.

I know it’s January and the weather outside is still very cold, but we wanted to take this time in providing you some details to this year’s Chesapeake Bay Pocket Yacht Knot. This will be our 7th Annual CBPYK and this year’s rendezvous will be at Herrington Harbor SOUTH, http://www.herringtonharbour.com/south, with a theme of “Hawaiian Luau”. So pack your favorite Hawaiian shirt and grass hula skirt and join us for some good fun, fellowship and a chance to meet a few Ranger Tug, Cutwater and C-Dory owners.

It's very Important to Reserve your slip now!!! Herrington Harbour South is only holding them for a very short time then they will release the slips to the public. To reserve your slip at the marina, you can go thru through Dockwa.com or at the following link https://www.herringtonharbour.com/south ... t-dockage/. When you make the reservation, make sure you include "Attending the Pocket Yacht Knot" in the remarks section. Also, you will be charged the first night's stay as a deposit, but don’t worry, you can cancel any time up to noon the day before your scheduled arrival date and receive a full refund of that deposit.

There will be more information on the weekend’s agenda in following posts, but we did want to pass this on to you. Be on the lookout for a Sign Up Genius to register this year. We are offering an early registration incentive, if you register and reserve your boat for the knot before 1 May, the registration fee is $50/person plus you will receive complimentary tickets to the Annapolis Power Boat Show this October. After 1 May, the registration fee goes to $65/person and you’ll have to pay to enter the Annapolis Power Boat Show.

We are so excited about this year’s knot, we can’t wait to meet up with everyone.

Sounds like fun, I have a slip reserved.
I am trailering my boat from Maine, now I need to figure out where to launch the boat and what to do with my truck/trailer.

Evening everybody,

Here's a quick update. We are happy to report that we currently have 10 boats who have already reserved their slip at Herrington Harbor South. However, we have a challenge to deal with. We have been notified by the marina that there is a wedding couple that is wanting a few slips for that weekend, and unless more of our boaters reserve their slips, we may run out of slips. Once the marina runs out of slips, they won't be able to take in any new reservations. So if you are thinking about attending, please go on line and make your reservation now, please. You will be charged on night, but you can always cancel by noon on the day prior to get your full refund if you can't attend. Our goal is to have 40 boats at this year's rendezvous, so let's see how many more boaters can reserve their slips now.

Additionally, when you make your on-line reservation, make sure you make a note that you are with the Pocket Yacht Knot, so they will keep us together. As you fill in the reservation data, on the "Overview" section, at the bottom is a "Special Requests" section is where you will need to type in that you are attending the Pocket Yacht Knot.

To make your reservation, go to https://www.herringtonharbour.com/south ... t-dockage/. You will find the reservation section on the right side, mid-way down on the page. As a reminder, the rendezvous is June 8-10, 2018.

We would like to thank the following families in reserving their slip already:
Garcia
Peck
Reed
Waugh
Demerest
Bailey
Hanscom
Stone
Syckle
Fuller

But I know there are more folks out there who will be attending, so don't delay, reserve your slip today.

PM me if you have any questions or concerns,
John & Tracey Garcia

Having just bought our Cutwater, when I found out about the Knot, we were looking forward to attending... Unfortunately, the Marina indicates that they are full and we were added to a wait list.

Summer Steve,

At one time in the past there was a shuttle boat between Herrington Harbor north and south marinas. You may be able to come by boat and stay at the north marina and shuttle south. The other option is there is a hotel at the south marina and maybe they have a room left. Good luck, hope to see you there.

We were also put on the waiting list. Is there a designated anchorage near the marina?

I have a slip reserved, but our boat has been delayed and we won't be able to attend. I will release it this weekend and hopefully somebody here will be able to pick it up.

FYI- I just received an email saying my slip reservation has been cancelled, hopefully somebody on the waiting list will get it.

That must have been why they called me! I was #2 on the wait list and was just confirmed.

We had reserved a slip for the 2018 gathering and had to cancel because of an upcoming surprise B'Day party for our daughter in NJ. So sorry we will miss meeting you all as we are new to Tugnuts and our Cutwater 24C and would have like to introduce ourselves to other Cutwater owners in the Annapolis area. Not knowing if there is a list available of other 24C owners, we'd like to possibly meet up at another time. We live on Back Creek and are waiting the real SPRING to start. Weather has not been very cooperative since we took ownership a few weeks ago.
