Has anyone heard any news on the get to gather at Burnt Store Marina this coming February?
 
Yes, it is scheduled for February 8-10 at Burnt Store Marina on the west coast of Florida. Mike or Jess Rizzo will probably respond as to registration and details but al least you've got the dates. Look forward to seeing you there.

Just curious - After the hurricane clobbered FL, especially the Keys, is the 2018 Rendezvous still being planned for Burnt Store Marina in Feb?

We have had a reservation on the books for over a year for a slip at Marathon Marina, and are patiently waiting to see if it will be available for us this winter. They are working feverously to get the marina back up and running. Current projected "reopening" is December. We are hopeful....

All is scheduled. The marina at Burnt Store had little damage. I was waiting until November to reconfirm that all is okay. So as of now keep the time window open. Hope to see you there.
 
Just brought our new Cutwater C-24 home to Daytona Beach and would LOVE to join in on
a Rendezvous!
What do I need to do to be included in the South Florida Rendezvous?

Joan and I are taking our Ranger 25 over the Okeechobee Waterway to the Rendezvous. Interested in crossing together? There are several of us going to meetup in the St Lucie area.

We haven't yet determined how far we'll trailer vs
Float. I hope We can manage maximum float time but we have
Family that depends on us to be available for
The grandkids . So we may have to trailer more then we'd like :-(

We are new tugnuts and would like to come to Burnt Store Marina for the day. Understand the Marina is booked already. Dan suggested we try and attend by land. Let us know if there is a way to sign up for the day. Thanks Wow2018
 
Thank you Mike and Jess Rizzo for organizing this years South Florida Rendezvous, it was fabulous! 30 boats, 80 some people, wonderful presentations about cruising, Garmin support, Global Marine knowledge, tasty food, Ranger Tugs Ivan Guzman providing unparalleled customer support and above all great camaraderie. I'm sure lots and lots of work went into pulling this Rendezvous off and the results showed. Thanks to you both for everything.

Hi Barry. There will be photos once we get to a land base. I took some video with the drone of all the boats at dock, a group photo and boats causing into Cayo Costa's Pelican bay.

Two more thumbs up to Mike and Jess and the sponsors. It takes a lot of work to make these events happen.
Ten boats formed a flotilla today and cruised from Burnt Store Marina to Cayo Costa and are presently anchored out off this pristine island. Tomorrow some of us will part ways, but only until till next year.
