2019 Florida gathering?

Thanks for the feedback. This is our first major road trip towing the boat so we're a bit nervous. I've got new tires on the trailer, two spares, spare hub, and a laser thermometer. To protect the hull I put a Towtector on the truck and I will put crash wrap on the hull. I had the whole rig weighed and everything appears ok. Total towing weight is 13,000lbs with a full fuel tank.(fuel is $2.51/gal here in SC, and I keep it full during the cold months). My F250 is rated at 14,500. Tongue wt is light at around 800 lbs but it feels ok. I moved more stuff up front on the boat and put the dingy and motor in the truck.

Our plan (as of today) is to take I-95 to I-4 and stop in Lakeland for the night. On Friday we will continue down I-4 to the Polk Toll Road and take it to Hwy 98 which merges with 17. The folks at Burnt Store Marina gave me directions to get to them also.

I'm not familiar with "crash wrap", be careful that it does not come loose and beat against the hull, it could damage the gel coat. For truck fueling I use the truck stops, a lot less stressful than using gas stations. There is a free app Truckers Path that will show all the truck stops in the country. Make sure your hotel stop has a large parking lot for the rig, you can use Google Earth to take a look at it. I also ask it there is a restaurant within walking distance.

Crash wrap or wreck wrap is an adhesive "seran wrap" that is used to cover damaged windows and windshields, and to protect cars on car carriers. I read that it will not hurt the gelcoat and adheres well. (we'll see) I'll keep an eye on it too. I already checked with the hotel about parking and thanks for the suggestions about truck stop app, sat view and restaurants.
