2019 R27 air conditioner pump won't stay on

Hi--When running off the generator, the a/c pump starts, runs and pumps water for a couple of seconds, then stops. It runs fine on shore power. The generator is putting out power because I can run everything else on it. Any ideas on what it could be and how to trouble shoot it? A/C It has gotten very little use since we bought the boat (new). Thank you. --LeRoy Johnston 2019 Ranger R27 Grace.

I should add I have the Webasto air conditioner unit and the Westerbeke 3.5 KW SBCG generator. --LeRoy Johnston R27 Grace

Does the panel show any errors? I have found that my system, similar to yours, will stop pumping water when the a/c satisfies the temp requested while the fan keeps running.

No error messages showing. I found another thread in which similar issues were reported involving Mase generators on R25's in which the problem was a bad capacitor on the generator. I'm going to run that by my generator guy.

Tech just left after installing new capacitor. Problem solved. Tech emphasized having no other loads on when turning on A/C.
