Thanks, I put both Roche Harbor and Poets cove on my calendar unfortunately I have a conflict with the Desolation Sound dates.

Thanks for the Factory Event schedule Sam. Lisa n I are looking forward to attending the Rendezvous at Roche Harbor, with plans to register soon.

2 questions:
1. If we bought our Ranger tug from a private party can we go on Ranger tug sponsored events?

2. On the Roche Harbor registration it asked if we wanted to add on the Presidents Club. What does that entail?

I'll take a stab, based on attending last year (and planning to again this year -- great event!)

1. Yes, any RT or CW owner can attend, whether boat is new or new to you (or old to you!)

2. As for President's Club, that is an area set aside for med-mooring (stern in to the dock and rafted alongside other boats). It allows more boats with less privacy, and has some compensating perks such as priority factory support. Details are on the event home page: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2020-range ... 6930101273

All of the listed events are focused on the northwest. Are there sponsored events in other parts of the country? We live year round in Southwest Florida and would enjoy attending local events.

Keep an eye on the Cruises and Gathering forum. Events in other parts of the country are promoted there. Members of the factory team often attend.

Cheers,

Bruce

I know it's hard to plan future events these days, but is there any word on whether the Roche Harbor Rendezvous still expected to go ahead? Is there a cut-off date where it will be cancelled due to inability to prepare and plan? We are holding out on registering until we know more.

For now, we're going to keep the rendezvous scheduled as-is and continue to monitor the situation closely. We're discussing options internally and with our friends at Roche.

We hope to have an update posted here soon. Thank you.

Sam

Looks like the factory has cancelled the Desolation Sound trip. Just received a refund of my deposit. Rats!

Boo hoo. Our registration was cancelled too. We were expecting it however.

Hi all,

if you were registered for the 2020 Rendezvous, you've probably already seen the announcement. Unfortunately, we've had to cancel this year's rendezvous.

We waited as long as possible to make the final decision and unfortunately, in the current environment, neither us nor Roche Harbor feel it’s feasible or responsible to host the event this year. In fact, Roche Harbor has canceled the remainder of their group events for 2020.

The Rendezvous is a very special event for us. It’s a time to come together and celebrate the Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats community and the lifestyle that we all love. We will miss it greatly this year. To say that we are disappointed would be an understatement. However, we are already making plans for next year. The 2021 Ranger Tugs & Cutwater Boats Rendezvous will be a special one. We’ll make sure of that!

As of now, we're planning a full event schedule for next year. We will keep you all updated as things develop.

Sam

Thanks for the update, I will take it off my calendar. This would have been my first Ranger Rendezvous although I did attend a SeaSport Rendezvous years ago for my other boat and it was a great gathering. Disappointed but totally understand.

Thanks for the update Sam. Even thou we’ll all miss the big event the decision is in the best interest of everyone involved. Our best to you and the Fluid Motion family.

Thanks for the sad update! We were very excited for the Roche Harbor event, but yes, it is for the best this year to cancel it. It is thanks to last year’s rendezvous that we have our Ranger 27 Morning Light after we met Debbie and Bruce Elkind. We love being part of the Ranger Tug family and will really look forward to the 2021 events! Meanwhile, we are enjoying our wandering this season and have met some wonderful Ranger Tug owners! Keep on cruising and enjoy our Washington waters!
