Hi Tugnuts!

We’ve been receiving a lot of calls and emails inquiring about the 2021 factory event schedule. It’s great to see so many people eager to get out and cruise with friends and family on their Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats. We share your excitement. We can’t wait to spend some quality time on the water with everyone.

As of now, we are planning to have our Rendezvous at Roche Harbor on September 9-12, 2021. It will be a modified version of the event but as long as we’re able to have an event at that time, we will. Roche Harbor is on board and we are in the early planning stages now. We are keeping an eye on all state and local requirements to make sure the event will be safe, legal, and fun! More details and registration information for this event will be announced here, on tugnuts in the coming weeks. For now, save the dates! There is no need to contact Roche Harbor at this time. They will not take reservations for those dates as they have already reserved the space for us.

Unfortunately, we had to postpone our Poets Cove and Ganges Marina Cruise until 2022. We haven’t fully shut down the possibility of a 2021 Desolation Sound Cruise but at this point it seems unlikely that we will be able to host that cruise this year. I will make an announcement in this forum when we have a definite answer on a Desolation Sound Cruise.

We hope everyone is well and hope to see you soon!

Sam

Thanks for the update Sam!
I’m not surprised by the cancellation of the Poets Cove and Ganges trips. Just this morning I reviewed a NEXUS email from CBP stating additional restrictions and detailing additional procedures that are required for folks entering Canada. Due to the slow vaccination rates in Canada it may be all summer before things start looking up for non-essential border crossings.
I am very happy we can trailer our boat to new-to-us fresh water lakes and to new adventures across the PNW states.
But I do miss being able to enjoy the great places and people on the Canadian side!
Stay safe everyone!

Thanks for posting this, Sam... gives us a little ray of hope and a possible get together to look forward to.

Is there any chance that the Points North Seminar on Zoom can take place this year. Always good to hear from Sam Landsman!

Hi Bob,

I couldn't agree more about Sam Landsman, he's the best. We aren't hosting the Points North Seminar this year but last years seminar is posted on youtube here.

We do plan to continue with the in-person event next year and we have some fun plans in the works!

Sam

Hi Sam,

Any update on when we be able to register for the 2021 Rendezvous?

Thanks.

Hi all,

please continue to save the dates of September 9-12 for Roche Harbor this year. I'll post event and registration details here by mid-late June. We're working with Roche to plan a great event. We can't wait to get out and see everyone!

Is there any East Coast factory rendezvous? There are more Ranger tugs here now and would love to join in without having to travel to the west coast! LOL

Hi there, great question. there are a handful of awesome East Coast events that we participate in. Off the top of my head, there's a SW Florida Rendezvous in February and the Pocket Yacht Knot in MD which is usually around this time. Let me do a little research on what the latest East Coast events are and get back to you. In the meantime, if any other tugnuts have done their homework better than I have, can you share some East Coast event details (if there are any yet) with Joethechef?

thanks! I'll get back to you with the details.
