Hi Sam. This is great news but two questions:
1. While we want to register, will Canadians be able to get a refund if the border restrictions are not lifted?
2. In the past the resort has given free moorage for registrants for the night before the rendezvous begins. Will that be the case this year?

FYI. I called Roche Harbor and they said they are not taking reservations prior to the Rendezvous. It is on a first come first serve basis. The person I spoke to could not confirm that Wednesday, Sept. 8th was free for those registered for the rendezvous. However, she said it was in years past and they would know more closer to the event. Hope this helps!

If you call the marina, not all of the dock staff at Roche Harbor will know all of the details for our event but here is what is confirmed with the Harbormaster.
1. When you register for the event on eventbrite, you can schedule your arrival as early as Monday, September 6th.
2. Due to the holiday, we cannot reserve any space prior to 12pm on Monday, September 6th. Anything prior to this would be first-come, first-serve
3. Wednesday is free if you pay for Thurs, Fri, Sat night.
Remember that you do not need to call the marina. All you have to do is register on eventbrite. We will give your boat specifics to Roche Harbor.
Here are the details from the registration page:
Roche Harbor Marina has offered free moorage on Wednesday, Sept 8th for boats paying for moorage Thursday through Saturday evenings. During registration, please indicate your arrival day.
You do not need to make a moorage reservation. We will send Roche Harbor your information in the weeks leading up to the event. You will pay all moorage fees directly to the marina upon your arrival. The dock crew will collect moorage on the docks. Standard moorage fees will apply and will be based on length overall (LOA). We'll provide the marina with standard LOA figures for our boats.

We are sorry to announce that we have canceled this year’s rendezvous due to rising concerns around Covid19/Delta. To say that we are disappointed would be an understatement, but our top priority is the health and safety of our customers, employees, and friends.
We did not make this decision lightly; the rendezvous is our favorite event of the year. It’s a time to gather, enjoy each other’s company and celebrate the boats and boating lifestyle that we love so much. We feel that at this point, we are unable to social distance and host the type of community event that we want to provide for our customers and employees.
You will receive a full refund from Eventbrite shortly. If you still plan to travel to Roche Harbor for those dates, the marina has agreed to honor their original offer of free moorage on Wednesday with paid moorage for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. If you would like to keep your moorage reservation at Roche Harbor, please email sambisset@rangertugs.com.
We are already planning events for 2022 and look forward to seeing everyone then.
We appreciate your understanding.
