Hello Kind R27 Factory Folks,

May I ask, are there any changes expected between the current 2021 model year and the upcoming 2022 model year R27s? I’ve heard the engine cowling on the F300 has been refreshed and the black water tank will no longer have a gauge and instead there will be a visual inspection port. There is also word that cockpit may have decking (similar to SeaDeck) added. Any info you can share would be great.

Thanks so much.

Can't speak to the engine cowling or the cockpit decking, but my 2021 R27 does not have a black tank gauge but does have the 'inspection port'

Check out the Yamaha web site, the 300 and 250 received a few up grades this year. Besides the new cowl the exhaust exit has changed from exiting though the prop so you will have clean water when in reverse. It should help in slow speed maneuvering around the doc. I ordered a new R25 with the 250 Yamaha and am looking forward to the new changes from Yamaha. Kevin

Hello,

Has anyone taken delivery of a 2022 model year R-27, and is willing to share what they’ve learned is new on this model year versus the 2021 model year. I’ve heard it is very similar to the 2021, but does not have a black water tank gauge or the retractable step for the opening cabin bulkhead reverse seating, but it does indeed have Raptor Decking in the cockpit, which sounds pretty nice.

Thanks so much,
KJ
