2023 R27 300HP outboard Steering

My 2023 R27 Steering slip a couple of times when turning either direction. I tried to locate my hydraulic fluid reservoir behind steering helm and under steering helm. Please pass on the location. I need to check the fluid level to eliminate why the steering slips while turning outboard.

You don’t have a reservoir per se, but at the helm wheel there is a black cap on top that unscrews. You should see hydraulic fluid covering the gears. I would also check the autopilot pump and its fittings for any leaks. Another possible cause of slipping in the steering is air in the hydraulic lines. The system may need to be re-bled, which can be done by a service yard or a mobile service technician.
