2024 Ranger TugR31-S steering locks up

I have a brand new 2024 ranger tug r31S. The steering freezes up for a min then goes back to normal. Auto pilot is off. This is very annoying and dangerous especially when trying to pull into my boat slip since I have little to no control of the boat except for the thrusters.

Are there a know issues with the steering on the Ranger Tugs?

I upgraded all the Garmin software including the reactor software and the steering has now worked for two months no issues.
