I have water flowing through the system. It does seem to go off and on when the system is on. Does the engine need to be running for heat on an R27?Check to make sure you have water flowing through the system. It should be coming out of the diverter port on the starboard side. You may have to prime the pump. The first time I used mine i had to get the boat on plane with the heat running, when I backed off the throttle the pump primed itself and the heat pump worked great.
The engine doesnt need to be running unless you are needing more charge to the house battery bank? Might ask the factory on that one. I don't know enough to troubleshoot that unit.I have water flowing through the system. It does seem to go off and on when the system is on. Does the engine need to be running for heat on an R27?
Thanks! I never saw the sun. I will try that tomorrow.I had trouble switching modes from heat to AC and found I had to hold the heat cool button longer than I thought. Maybe 5 seconds. The unit then showed either a sun or a snow flake. Maybe it's the mode it's in.
