R-27 on order, late December 2024 delivery
Our brand new R27 arrived at the dealer about 10 days ago.
I was pleasantly surprised when we climbed aboard the still wrapped boat to find there was not a notch in the bed where the door to the head swings out.

The door to the head swings into the head. It's able to do that because it is split vertically, with a piano hinge on that split.
The door folds onto itself and is secured to the interior wall by a webbing with a snap.

We noticed that too and initially felt it was an improvement versus ‘24 boats. Now not sure, but will follow this thread to see how it works for you as it might be an easy add. The biggest change is the demise of the NW of course and shift to electric heat from diesel but if you’re not in a location that requires heat it might not be a factor.

Interesting, our 2025 R27 still has the notch. Must have been a mid-season change.

It's quite common for the factory to change things mid-season.

The salon change in the R27-OB occurred mid-year in 2020. I've seen later year 2020 models with the raised salon, while earlier in 2020 and back are the lower salon configuration.
