2026 Northeast/New England Rendezvous

Joyce and I are pleased to announce that the 2026 Northeast/New England Rendezvous will be held at the historic Mystic Seaport and Museum, from August 6, through August 9. I have gotten commitments from both Winter Island Yacht Yard as well as Fluid Motion for their continued support.

Dockage at the seaport includes: complimentary admission to the museum, including halls and historic vessels, WIFI, water, immaculate heads and showers, and if you book your slip before 12/31/2025, the electricity is included. There will be a small increase in dockage fees after 12/31/2025 and the electricity will be a separate charge. Booking for the dockage can done through the Dockwa app. Please indicate that you are attending the Ranger Tugs Rendezvous in the special requests section. More details to follow.

Cindy and I live in Mystic and keep our red R-27 OB, Last Dance, at our dock 400 ft from Mystic Seaport. I have been boating out of Mystic for the past 54 years and recently retired from the Mystic Harbor Management Commission after 36 years.

Let me know if I can be of assistance with local knowledge, like drawbridge strategy.

In 2026, we are cruising from Marion, MA to RI, CT, and Long Island in July / August. We’ll start off at the WIYY Rendezvous and it looks like we can make Mystic for this Rendezvous! While the float plan is still in gestation, it looks promising.
