Howdy folks -

Looks like our freshwater gauge might be stuck. I'm trying a max refill and then use some water to see if it kicks loose...

Barring that, can anybody figure out how to get to the sensor? Looks like it's on the end of the tank within each, but its underneath the floorboards near the pump access...with maybe 2 inches of clearence. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get my hands, let along any kind of tool in there...

Nor can I figure out how I'd pull the sensor given the length and the clearance...

Curious if anyone has run into this...

Is it on zero? Is switch on at gauge? My 2017 has a rocker switch at gauge. If not on, I think it reads zero.

Provide more details
1) year and model boat
2) did it ever work
3) does it go to zero when switch is off
4) is it analog or digital gauge

If analog not on zero with switch is off, then I would question gauge

Ask ChatGPT:

If a Ranger tug r29 2026 analog water gauge is stuck on full when switch is on, and goes to zero when switch is off, what are possible causes. It used to work properly.
