Is the factory white waterline stripe a true indication of max weight or is it only a decorative marking ?

Mr Crouch, To answer your question the water line on your R-21 is not a load line also known as (Plimsoll Line) and is not any indication as to the legal limit to which your vessel may be loaded.
For your information the R-21 EC has a displacement of 2,750 lbs and a capacity to safely carry a payload of 1,400 lbs. Hope this answered your question. Bob
