21EC Windlass Installation

I installed a Lewmar 700H on my 21EC this week.

There is still some cleanup of sealant needed, but you get the idea for now.

I installed the standard rocker switch by the helm along with the wired remote with a stretchy cord which I can stretch out the side window or up through the v-berth hatch for more "attended" operation.

Nice work Dave! What did you construct the box with is it fiberglass? Is that black star board on either side of the bow? Did you through bolt the box to the hull?

The 'box' is white oak. I painted it with Interlux Perfection 2 part polyurethane.

It IS bolted through the deck. And, yes, the black stuff is starboard. Good eye!
