Hello Ann and Brian, the Volvo engines have a programmable key fob that you can program yourself with a little guidance. You can purchase the fob from us directly by calling our office (253-839-5213) and working with Richard Becker in the parts department. Once you have the new key, you'll need to program the key by going to the Volvo 4" display to perform the following steps:
1: Scroll through the main menu until you get to the 'settings' tab
2: Scroll down to 'E-KEY management'
3: When prompted to 'show E-KEY for Authorization', show your original EKEY
4: Select 'add E-KEY'
5: Show 'new' E-KEY
Process complete.
