One of the projects on my list is relocating/adding some electrical outlets. This is one area on my tug that has come up woefully short. The boat has three receptacles available, one in the head (GFCI), and two in the cabin... one is below the dining table, GFCI, facing aft, outboard.... the other, below the drivers seat, facing forward, outboard. Unfortunately, both the latter locations are at best questionable as to placement, and seem to be more of an afterthought than a thoughtful position for convenience sake. I don't understand.... Ranger's R 27 has the galley receptacle located on the vertical wood chase that looks very convenient. I'm going to install one there. I'm not sure why Ranger tugs doesn't. The other location under the dinette is again a "why there ? " question... awkward, unreachable, and inconvenient.... I'm still debating where I will relocate. Any thoughts/solutions?
