4 th annual Gulf Coast Gathering 10/23-10/25!!

As seen on C Brats , we will be hosting our 100th anniversary event ! It is a barrel of fun , is located on the Apalachicola river and the sign up sheet is on C Brats HERE
If I can keep the signups in one place it would help for planning . This is a fun event and we would love to have a good showing of Ranger Tug folks !! We will have a block of rooms at the Water Street Hotel available with slips available as well. There is dockage at Johns house for 10-15 boats . We will cruise ,eat drink and have a great time !

Marc, our daughter and our grandchildren will still be here when the gathering starts. They fly back to Germany late on the 23rd. We'd have to leave on the 24th; that would give us only one day, the 25th.

Peggy will be disappointed if we miss it. We're going to Seattle in mid-Sept. and get home in Oct. in time to greet our daughter and the grandchildren.

We might not have enough energy for everything, especially after a couple of weeks with a 12 year old and two 9 year olds.

We are getting a good representation of Ranger Tug folks , so don't hesitate ! Whatever is in stock at the time will be available for demos . I have seen some shrimpers working so Ill be securing a boatload of shrimp for the seafood night .

Hotel info ; Go ahead and book your rooms early!!! Water street has blocked out 10 rooms and slips for us . They are reserved at the group rate till the 23 rd of Sept . at which time they revert to regular availability .Sun- Thurs is $149.00 per night [reg $169]and C Brat slips are 1$ a foot [reg $1.50] Fri and Sat Night are $169 per night [reg $189]with same $1 slip per Ft. price .

Gulf Coast Gathering Update ;
Looks like at least 4 or 5 tugs in attendance and a ton of C Dorys, water levels down in the Bay due to Shrimp and Oyster removal for your dining pleasure , great weather expected , now we just need you ! Temps in the mid to upper 70s ,mild nights 50% chance of rain [that means they have no idea] . Great presentation from the Apalachicola Riverkeeper planned for Sat P.M. and a really good bunch of like minded boaters .
