4BY2 Operations Manual

I've been searching online for a PDF or electronic copy of the Operations Manual for my Yanmar 4BY2-150. The hard copy I have is a little dirty plus I'd like to have all my manuals on my computers and tablets. I can find a copy of the Operations Manual for the 4BY3 engines. Does anyone know where to find electronic copies of the 4BY2 manuals. Yanmar doesn't even have them on their site.

I have the manual on my computer and I'll email it too you directly as I'm not sure how to get it onto Tugnuts.

Thanks for sending the manual along. That's just what I needed. I knew if I posted this on Tugnuts within a short while I'd have an answer.

Let me know if you need the detailed manual. I can send that along as well. An interesting note, apparently there have been some design changes along the way, so the manual does not always jive with the engine. I found this out when I changed my engine thermostat. The manual showed it in one location (at the coolant pump), but it was actually somewhere else, on the bottom of the heat exchanger. After replacing it I can understand why it was moved. I called Yanmar and asked if I could put the new thermostat in the new location since it was all set up for it. Their reply was put it back where it was, BUMMER!

I got a Repair Manual for mine for $14.95. I print out what I want. It's very detailed, but engine only, nothing about the boat. WWW.MYGREENMANUALS.COM
