5th Annual Chesapeake Bay Gathering

On June 5,6,7 we will hold the 5th Annual Chesapeake Gathering, at Lankford Bay Marina, just off the Chester River.
I was one of the original founders of this great gathering. In the past it has been chiefly a C Dory event. (I sold my 22 a year ago and bought a R 25 tug, BANJO). This year we would love to see a bunch of Ranger tugs at the gathering. We can guarantee you good fun, fellowship, great food, and even some music. More details later.

I'll reinforce Tom's invite....I've been to all but last year's gathering. I'd encourage you to come and go to the C-Brats site to sign up in the tab at the top of the home page. The more the merrier! We usually have 30 or so boats and usually have 1 or more Tugs there, would like to have more!!

Charlie's advice is, as usual, correct. It would be easier for all to just sign up on the C-brat site...that is where Charlie goes to gather the information for our gathering.

I can add that we have a Ranger dealer right here in Rock Hall and they will be (we hope) attending to field questions, maybe even show a new Ranger 29!

C dory and Ranger people, it seems to me, are a natural mix. We have fun. Y'all come.

Tom, I assume you're gonna sign up?? We've already got 6 boats, all C-Dorys signed up, now we need some Tugs!! 😉

I 'll be there with BANJO> I"m hoping to get Gratitude Yachts, the RockHall Ranger dealer, to bring over a 29' Ranger...nice boat.
We have about four local Ranger tugs and i'm working to get them there too.

The Chesapeake Bay gathering in JUne welcomes all Rangers. It has traditionally been a C Dory event, but last year we had a few Rangers there (I had just sold my C Dory and bought my Ranger 25)....
The event is a blast...great food, music, and a perfectly beautiful setting. Check out the web site for Lankford Bay Marina. It is a family owned place, great pool, wonderful cruising grounds, relaxed and quiet.

I am hoping our local Ranger dealers will show with a new boat or two.

You've got to "register", like you did here, easy and free. After that, go to the top of the home page and click on the Event Signups button. It will bring up all of the scheduled cruises and events where you can sign up. We have had 30+ boats in previous years, this year, being the 5th year, we're trying for 50!!
