6HP Yamaha Outboard motor storage on 2021 R29 CB LE

Just got 2021 R29 CB LE. With it a Yamaha 6 HP Outboard with mounting bracket. The booklet with the mounting bracket says it is designed for a 2 stroke engine up to 8 to and to NOT use it for a four stroke engine. Given that, I have obvious concerns and do not see it as an option for installing and using it for my Yamaha 4 stroke. Aside from that where does the factory even recommend installing the outboard when underway using some sort of t - mount bracket as the one supplied which is not adequate per the book of instructions provided.

Chalk this up to "copy and paste" specs.

Thanks to Evinrude's recent departure you cant even buy a 2-stroke OB anymore and you definitely couldn't buy a <10 hp smoker OB in the last 10 years.

The weights between a 8hp "Smoker" and a 6 hp "Gasser" are probably pretty close.
